Kasauli


One of the quint hill stations of North India, Kasauli is located on the mountain regions near Manali. The region provides a panoramic view of the mountains from the altitude of 1,927 meters. The region of Kasauli is of mythological importance to the Hindus who believe that the legendary Lord Hanuman had visited the place en route the Sanjeevani Hill which has the healing Sanjeevani herb.

The Choordhar Peak or the Choor Chadni Peak that rises to a height of 3647 meters can be viewed from the town.

Flanked by gardens and old British bungalows, the region of Kasauli provides a sylvan and elegant atmosphere which makes it one of the chief places to see around Manali.
