A taxi and a load carrier collided head-on on Monday, killing five persons and injuring four others in Baramulla district of North Kashmir, police said. The accident took place in Tarzoo area of Sopore on the Srinagar-Baramulla highway. The vehicle was coming from Kupwara and was heading to Srinagar. According to reports, the injured were shifted to a
hospital.
