Heavy Rains in Uttarakhand: 12 Dead, 25 Missing |

Heavy showers in Pithogarh and Chamoli district of Uttarakhand led to the death of twelve people, while twenty-five are still missing. The landslides buried houses in these districts, leaving many trapped under the rubbles. Among the twelve dead, 8 persons died in the cloudburst and four due to torrential rains. Rescuers are working hard to locate the people.
