After recording a historic victory in the general election 2014, the Prime Minister designate of India, Narendra Modi has scheduled a visit to the Bharatiya Janata Party headquarters at 11, Ashoka Road in the national capital today, as per media reports.

To ensure tight security during his procession at the venue, the Delhi Traffic Police has issued traffic advisory to be implemented on the planned route. The procession will move from IGI Airport Terminal III to Service Road, Central Spine Road, Aerocity, Sanjay ‘T’ Point – National Highway No. 8, Dhaula Kuan Flyover, Sardar Patel Marg, 11 Murti, Mother Teresa Crescent, R/A Teen Murti, Teen Murti Marg, R/A GKPO, Akbar Road, R/A Moti Lal Nehru Place, Janpath, Windsor Place, and Ashoka Road BJP Heaquarters.

As per media reports, many routes are expected to be affected today during the procession. Some of the roads where diversions are possible include IGI Airport Road, Central Spine Road, Aerocity, National Highway No. 8, Sardar Patel Marg, Mother Teresa Crescent, Teen Murti Marg, Akbar Road, Janpath and Ashoka Road.
