Around 14 people have lost their eyesight after they underway cataract surgery in a free eye camp organized in Punjab. As per media reports, about 60 people registered with the eye camp on 4 November in a charitable hospital in Gurdaspur. Reportedly, few people have completely lost their eyesight and the authorities are trying to save others from getting blind completely. Ravi Bhagat, Deputy Commissioner of Amritsar said that the authorities are investigating about the doctors and medicines used during the camp.
