The lovers of books in the capital city have an occasion to rejoice once again. The 20th World Book Fair is being held in Delhi from February 25th to March 4th 2012, over a span of none days. Inviting visitors from different parts of the country, the book fair is being held at the Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, will receive visitors between 11 am to 8 pm.

Several events are planned to be held over the period of nine days in the World Book Fair. These include rights pavilion, theme pavilion, children pavilion, a translation event, Indo-French seminar, literary events, and other cultural programmes. There will also be an enriching discussion on the topic "Representation of the marginalized in Contemporary Indian Cinema and Literature."

The biennial event is conducted around a specific theme every time and this year it is dedicated to the books on Indian cinema. The National Book Trust, an organization responsible for promotion and publishing of books in India is entrusted with the responsibility to conduct this event. The organizers have left no stone unturned to make the event a bigger success this time. Also, the event will see special book launches featuring renowned authors and special stalls dedicated to children and the youth.
