These two twin parks attract more than 1.8 million people every year offering them endless fun amidst 30,000 species of flora and more than 79 rides. The Essel World is a perfect place for a day out. Besides there are series of coin generated games, multi-cuisine restaurants and fast food corners to tickle your taste buds.

The rides at Essel World are divided into three categories: the family rides, the adult rides and the children rides.

The Family Rides: There are as many as 14 rides which come under this category.
  • The Arctic Circle is Mumbai's first ice skating rink. The rink has an area of 3,400 sq ft and is made of 7 inches thick ice kept at 5 degree centigrade.
  • The Maxivision is India’s first 180 degree dome theatre which gives you a lot of fun.
  • Sitting on the Monster and getting caught in its tentacles will definitely make your blood cold. This giant ride spins the chairs seated on its tentacles in the air at a mind-boggling speed taking your breath away in fear.
  • The Fuji Aqua Dive is a roller coaster ride. Your heart would stop beating when the roller coaster speeds down a 50 ft high steep track into a cool pool of water making you fully drenched.

Adult Rides: There are eight rides in the adult rides section. These rides are fiercer and you would experience a brutal enjoyment. Starting from the Thunder to Cadbury’s Zyclone, Manikchand Enterprise, and Slippery Sultan would make you feel butterflies in the stomach. You would be shaken at rocking high speed, spun in the middle of the air, and would brought to the ground after giving you a hair rising experience.

The children’s ride includes 12 fun filled and less scary rides. Junior Go Carting, Big Apple, Nataraj Caterpillar, and Play Pot are the most popular ones.

The Natraj Mini Telecombat originated in Italy is also very popular among the children. It’s a whole lot of fun sitting in these fighter planes and tackling you enemies and firing at them.

The Happy Sky also originated in Italy. These are similar to crazy cups but definitely less scary. Getting There:
