Meghalaya Ministry of Agriculture

Meghalaya Ministry of Agriculture is one of the most important ministries of this Himalayan North-Eastern state of India. Meghalaya is a largely agricultural state and the economy is by and large agrarian. The benefit of the farmers through various schemes like housing, farming and other loans and schemes are also under the direct purview of the ministry of tourism. The Meghalaya Ministry of Agriculture also promotes research and development projects in the state.

There are offices of the directorate located at all the districts, for the easy accessibility of the agriculturalists and the farmers.
