Mizoram Colleges

There are quite a few Mizoram colleges, which form a very important part of the total education system of the state. The colleges of Mizoram offer educational courses in a number of different streams.

The various types of colleges that one can avail of in the state of Mizoram are Engineering colleges, Polytechnic colleges, Nursing colleges, Hotel Management colleges, Pharmacy colleges, Law colleges, Veterinary colleges and Computer institutes.

There is one major Engineering college in Mizoram. It is called the Mizoram Engineering College. There are quite a few polytechnic colleges in Mizoram. The Regional Paramedical and Nursing Training Institute, the Government Polytechnic, the College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry and the Women's Polytechnic are the main polytechnic institutes in Mizoram.

The College of Nursing - Regional Paramedical and Nursing Institute is the leading nursing college of the state. There are two hotel management institutes in the region, namely, Lunglei Government Aizwal College and IGNOU Study Center.

The main pharmacy college of Mizoram is Regional Institute of Para Medical and Nursing. The chief law college of Mizoram is Aizwal Law College. The College of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry, one of the popular colleges at Mizoram, offers quality education on the subject of veterinary.

There are three major computer institutes in the area. The names of these institutes are the DOEACC Center, the Academy Of Computer and the Golden Republic Information Technology Center. All the above Mizoram colleges impart high-quality education to the youth of the state and hence are quite popular among them as well as the students of the remaining parts of north-eastern India.
