The corner street super markets now host a ton of these flavors and ingredients, just the other day I picked up a blue colored sugar syrup with orange flavorings called “Curacao Bleu”. Today I used this syrup to create a wonderful looking mocktail which I would name as Blue Curacao Ice Cream Mocktail. The sea blue color of the drink gives a soothing feeling, while the vanilla ice cream gels very nicely with the orange flavour. It is a delight for both the chef and the guests. The drink is best suited for small family gatherings or birthday parties. It is pure vegetarian and free from any alcohol so it also goes well with the kids and adults in an Indian context. Ingredients needed for making Blue Curacao Ice Cream
- Vanilla ice cream – 1 scoop
- Blue Curacao – 10 ml
- Sugar syrup – 2 tbsp
- Soda – 100 ml
How to make Blue Curacao Ice Cream
- Blend vanilla ice cream and blue curacao in a blender.
- Pour it in the glass.
- Add sugar syrup and mix well.
- Pour the soda on top.
- Serve immediately.
