Lauki Ka Halwa Recipe

Ingredients needed for Lauki Ka Halwa
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Lauki ( Bottle gourd) – 2 cups (grated)
Milk – 1 cup
Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
Khoya – 1 cup (broken into small pieces)
Sugar – 1/2 cup
Dry fruits for garnishing
How to make Lauki Ka Halwa
Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan.
When the ghee is hot, add grated lauki.
Fry for 2-3 minutes.
Add milk and cook till milk is reduced.
Add cardamom powder and khoya and mix well.
Cook for 3-4 minutes.
Add sugar and cook for another minute.
Garnish with almonds and pistachio slivers.
Serve hot or chilled, as per choice.
