Jai Hind, which claimed to be the Longest Running Internet TV Show, has dared to show something unusual against Mukesh Ambani in the form of a comic parody – ‘Mukesh Ambani : Message to All Indians (Ae Mere Vetan Ke Logo). Within four days the video received more than 74,000 views. The entertainment industry has the power to present any serious issue in a sarcastic and a comic way and this video is a good example of this.
Parody on Mukesh Ambani came after the former Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal’s action against him. His government filed FIR against Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani over gas pricing. Since then aam aadmi (common man) has been thinking about Ambani and his influence on India and political leaders. It is being said that he is running the entire show.
The spoof talked about auction of the cricketers and how Ambani had bought the cricketers. Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal, eminent journalists in this hilarious video have been shown crawling to reach Ambani, whereas Modi is dancing on his tunes. At the end of the video Arvind Kejriwal in the only one to get up and shown jumping around Ambani in a boxing mood.
It is really hard to miss the video in which Mukesh Ambani has been presented as the ‘Malik’ of India. Some of the comments made by Jai Hind TV clearly show anti-Ambani feeling. It called him distasteful who deserves to be made fun of. But on the other hand, this could be a way to earn cheap publicity and gimmick to make the video viral. In every comment, Jai Hind is pleading viewers to share the video.
But whatsoever may be the reason, the video is extremely sarcastic and humorous.
