About Baghi

Tiger Shroff, the young actor who became the talk of the town with his debut performance in Heropanti opposite Kirti Sanon, is back. This time, he is seen as a martial art in his film, Baaghi. It is a high-octane action-packed movie which would surely make your evening come alive.

The plot

So, what is Baaghi all about? Well, it is about a boy, a girl and a villain who comes in their way. The first part of the movie is based in Kerala and begins with Sia (Shraddha Kapoor), who is an actor, being kidnapped from the sets by Raghav (Sudheer) who takes her to Thailand. Sia’s father, played by Sunil Grover, manages to rope in Ronnie (Tiger Shroff), who, too, is a martial art expert. He was set on a mission to free Sia from the clutches of the villain.

How does Ronnie get Sia back fighting through a maze of martial arts honcho Raghav’s men with nothing by his side, except his martial arts training, forms the crux of the movie.

The performances

The performances of the entire crew working in the movie are outstanding. Tiger is the man to watch out for. He has delivered a far better and powerful performance than in Heropanti. He has made some difficult stunts look simple. Shraddha did justice to her role and her action scenes are praiseworthy. Sudheer Babu also has done a decent job as a bad guy but still has miles to go.

Music

Though the music is not all that great but songs such as ‘Agar Tu Hota’ and ‘Chham Chham’ do add spark to the movie.

What’s good?

Obviously, Tiger Shroff. His machismo and marvelous stunts had the viewers at the edge of their seats. The movie is a crowd-pleaser and has been able to pull audiences to the theatre.

What is bad?

The screenplay of the film could have been less predictable, some characters could been more meticulously sketched. The music is also a bit letdown

It’s a movie worth watching, especially if you are a Tiger fan or into high-action movies.
