The Green Hotel Mysore

The Chittaranjan Palace was built for the princesses of Mysore, and it has been converted into a hotel and been named as the Green Hotel Mysore. The stay at the Green Hotel Mysore is like a journey back in time during the era of Kings and nobles.

To give the guests the true essence of the era and also to follow the environmental friendly policies the rooms are not air-conditioned rooms, and are not equipped with TV or generators. On the other hand the hotel has spacious rooms, which are airy and well ventilated. All the rooms have fans, and the weather of Mysore is pleasant throughout the year thus air conditions are not so necessary. There is a huge lawn with many big trees thus offering a perfect place to spend tour time in tranquility.

There are 31 Palace Rooms categorized as, The Princess's room, the Honeymoon suite the Rose Room, The Writer's Room, the Marigold Suite, the Bollywood deluxe and smaller Bollywood rooms. These rooms are furnished in such a way to retain the old charm of the palace. There are other rooms like five suites, twelve travellers' rooms, two deluxe travellers' rooms. These rooms are simply furnished compared to the Palace rooms. All rooms of the hotel have sitting out areas that overlooks the beautiful garden.

The Green Hotel in Mysore also provides facilities for business and personal meetings and parties. There is a large meeting room, which can accommodate 75 people and six rooms with seating capacity ranging between 12 and 50 guests. The restaurant at this hotel offers a complete range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.
