Chamundi Hill, a 335 meters high landmark is a favorite tourist spot of Mysore. At the top of the hill there is Chamundeshwari temple built in the 12th Centuary. Two stone deities one of Nandi, Lord Shiva's bull and the other of Mahisasura is found close to the temple.
