Located at the confluence of the Ganga and Yamuna rivers, Allahabad is one of the renowned cities of Uttar Pradesh. It lies at a strategic point which is both geographically and culturally significant. The city is located at a distance of around 202 km south-west of Lucknow, the state capital.
