Location of Lucknow
Lucknow is the capital city of Uttar Pradesh and also the largest city in the state, comprising of over two million inhabitants. The city has a total area of around 689 sq km and is situated on the banks of River Gomti, which runs right through the city. Lucknow is the epitome of Shia culture which is famous for Muharram and Eid Festival.
