Named after the former secretary of the Madras Club - J.D Sim, the Sim's Park was built during the late nineteenth century. The Sim's Park has been designed in accordance to the Japanese style. The Sim's Garden of Coonoor has been on the slope of a hill, in the foot of a ravine. The Sim's Park is a little world for green enthusiasts and people interested in botany. The age old eucalyptus trees stand imposingly in the garden.
