Wallwood Garden, Coonoor

Established in the aegis of the Neemrana Group, Wallwood Garden – Coonoor is situated at a distance of two hours from the city of Coimbatore. The palatial mansion was the residence of the Scottish Major general and had been constructed a century earlier. The aura and the charm of the yesteryears are retained in the ancient mansion that has been redecorated in the old style incorporating the most modern facilities required by the tourists.

The Wallwood Garden at Coonoor is nestled amidst the tea estates in Ooty. The terraced farms of the Nilgiri Hills and the wooded slopes lay an enticing charm on the people who visit the region. The tourists may visit one of the most famous botanical gardens of the country. The Sim's Park preserves a variety of 1200 species of plants and trees in the gardens. The Kotagiri, Pykara and the Bandipur Wildlife Sanctuary lie close to the hotel, Wallwood Garden in Coonoor.

Accommodation in the mansion is provided in 6 rooms that are named after the trees. The Acacia and the Pine are the two grand rooms of the hotel while the rest are standard rooms.
