The annual Fontainhas Festival of Panaji is celebrated in the beginning of every year. The Fontainhas and the Mala area of the city get decked up for this eight days long festival. The Fontainhas Festival is basically a festival to showcase the art, culture and music of the land. Musicians, singers and artists and dancers from all over the country and world participate in this wonderful festival. Millions of people visit the city during this festival.
