Gurudwara Manji Sahib, Alamgir is located to the east of Harimandir Sahib near the building of Langar. Earlier, this place housed a garden known as Guru Ka Bagh. Guru Arjan Dev used to hold a darbar here during the construction work of Harimandir. Later, a huge hall called Guru Nanak Hall was constructed here. Innumerable people attend religious conferences and Kirtan darbars on the occasions of 'Gurupurbs'. The congregation at Gurudwara Manji Sahib, Alamgir is addressed by Katha Vaachak and learned priests. A huge crowd of devotees visit the place during the last week of December.
The palanquin that Guru Gobind Singh used to escape is still preserved. There is a Langar which serves anyone who visits it with free food.
