This battle took place in a site near the Khidrane di Dhab on the 29th of December in the year 1705. The bodies of these glorious soldiers were cremated the next day which was the first day of the Indian month Magh.
A big fair is organized on this day and many people gather here to celebrate the festival. Pilgrims from different places of the country come here to take a dip in the sacred water of Khidrane di Dhab. They also visit different shrines that are connected to this battle. A big procession of the pilgrims also march to the Gurdwara of Tibbi Sahib from the main shrine. The celebrations of this three day long festival thus concludes for the year.
