Shish Mahal Sahib is a Gurudwara at Keeratpur Sahib. Guru Har Rai Sahib, Guru Har Krishan Sahib and Baba Gurditta resided in this place. The Gurudwara of Shish Mahal Sahib was established by Baba Gurditta, the sixth Prophet. This Gurudwara is situated in the Ropar Circuit.
The most important of the Gurudwaras in Punjab are located in two circuits. One is the Ropar, where Shish Mahal Sahib is located, and the other is the Amritsar Circuit. The most important Gurudwaras of the Amritsar Circuit are Harmandir Sahib or the Golden Temple, the Tarn Tarn, Goindwal Sahib,Khadur Sahib, Baba Bakala, Dera Baba Nanak and Gurudwara Ber Sahib.
Apart from the Sish Mahal Sahib the other important Gurudwaras of Roopnagar or the Ropar Circuit are Gurudwara Charan Kamal, Gurudwara Damadama Sahib, Gurudwara Sri Takhat Sahib and Gurudwara Babaan Garh.
To visit the Sish Mahal Sahib and other Gurudwaras of this circuit you can make Roopnagar as a base point. Here there are many hotels and accommodation is not a problem. If you wish to visit the other Gurudwaras of the state Amritsar can also be another base point.
Some of the important Gurudwaras are also located in and around Anandpur Sahib. There the Gurdwara Thara Sahib, Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib, Gurudwara Takhat Sri Keshgarh Sahib and the Gurudwara Guru ka Lahore can be visited.
Gurudwara Sish Mahal Sahib is one of the famous religious spots of the Ropar Circuit.
