Savitri Temple

Savitri Temple, located at Pushkar, enshrines the deity Savitri. Goddess Savitri is wife of Lord Brahma. The temple of Goddess Savitri in Pushkar is built on the top of a hill. A flight of stairs brings one to the door-steps of the temple. From this point, the tourists get to see the beautiful scenery of the surrounding lake and the landscape. The sand dunes that are found around the temple also attract the attention of the tourists.

Pushkar is known to be the land of temples and has numerous temples scattered across the length and breadth of the city. One of the major attractions of the city is the Pushkar Lake which is a center of pilgrimage for the Hindus.
