Reliance Energy Limited had undertaken many important projects in India as well as outside the subcontinent. Many of the Past Reliance Power Projects were executed by the EPC division of reliance Power. Reliance Power also developed partnership with various other organizations while undertaking these projects.
Some of the major Past Reliance Power Projects were:
Dubai Electricity & Water Authority, Dubai, U.A.E. In 2000: This important project undertaken by Reliance Power dealt with the launching of communication stations, transmission lines, cable lines as well as GIS Substations.Electricity Corpn. Riyadh, Gizan, Saudi Arabia in 1980: The main objective of this overseas project of Reliance Power was to electrify Riyadh region. As a part of this project many transformers, distribution lines and transmission lines were installed in Saudi Arabia.
Royal Commission for Jubail, Saudi Arabia in 1983: This was a very prestigious project for Reliance Power. Distribution lines as well as cables were launched in Saudi Arabia. This project brought recognition for Reliance Power in this country.
Electricity Corpn. Riyadh, Gizan, Saudi Arabia in 1983: This was another past project of Reliance Power. In fact this was the second project that Reliance Power undertook in Riyadh for the electrification of this region.
Electricity Corpn. Riyadh, Quaseem, Saudi Arabia in 1984: The main aim of this project was to electrify the rural area of Quaseem, Saudi Arabia. While undertaking this project REL developed a partnership with Electricity Corporation of Riyadh.
Department of Power, Royal Govt. of Bhutan in 1922: It is one of the major past projects of Reliance. This project successfully brought electricity to many parts of the country.
SCECO (South), Gizan, Saudi Arabia in 1988: It is one of the most important past project of REL. The EPC division of REL successfully implemented this project.
Electricity Corporation, Saudi Arabia in 1991: This prestigious project was executed by EPC unit in order to electrify the whole Tabouk region. It gave prominence to REL in Saudi Arabia.
SCECO (south), Abha, Gizan, Saudi Arabia in 1983: It was one of the most rewarding projects of Reliance Energy Limited. The main object of this project was the maintenance of electric lines in the Gizan region of Saudi Arabia.
SCECO (Central), Saudi Arabia in 1989: This past project of Reliance dealt with the foundation of power project in Ar-Rayn. The EPC division of REL along with SCECO executed this project.
