SCECO (south), Abha, Gizan, Saudi Arabia in 1983


SCECO is one of the potential clients of Reliance who in collaboration with the EPC unit of Reliance installed and did overall maintenance of electric lines in the Gizan region.

SCECO (south), Abha, Gizan, Saudi Arabia in 1983 was one of the many successful projects of the EPC unit of Reliance Energy Limited which was undertaken in the year 1983 in Saudi Arabia.

EPC unit of Reliance

SCECO in collaboration with the EPC unit of Reliance designed, set up and also commissioned 13.8 kV cables and electrical lines in the Gizan region. Apart from installing, the EPC unit also looked after the newly-built transmission and distribution network in the region. The EPC unit mainly deals with the with the Engineering, Procurement and Construction projects of Reliance on a contractual basis and these projects are undertaken in different Indian states as well as in different countries all over the globe.

Saudi Consolidated Electricity Company (Southern region)

The Saudi Consolidated Electricity Company or SCECO is a company dealing with electricity and power projects in Saudi Arabia. The company was set up by a royal decree of the year 1979 in the southern region of Saudi Arabia. At present, the company manages 21 electronic-based companies of the region and regulates many government- projects in the region.

As a result of this SCECO (south), Abha, Gizan, Saudi Arabia in 1983 project, electric lines were installed and maintained in the Gizan region.
