Quiz At Lady Irwin School

September 22, 2007 saw MapsofIndia.com, the largest online repository of maps on India, venturing into the new field. It has taken up the initiative to take maps to the schools in India, and the medium chosen is the QUIZ. This quiz program was initiated at one of the prestigious and oldest schools of Delhi, Lady Irwin School. The program, which started at 11:00 am in the morning, was a huge success. Around 120 student of the school, who participated in the quiz, seemed to be very excited and inquisitive about the whole event. Mapsofindia Quiz team received a very warm welcome from everyone at the school especially, Geography Head of the Department, Mrs Maya Devi Chotani.

The quiz program was conducted in two sessions of 45 minutes each. The MapsofIndia team interacted with students, they were briefed about importance of Internet and Mapsofindia in their day to day life. Then questionnaires were distributed to students who really enjoyed solving it. At the end of the session each participant was presented the copy of India map from MapsofIndia.com. This exciting event, covered by HeadlinesIndia.com, came to an end with the presentation of a memento by the Assistant Vice President of MapsofIndia, Mrs Usha V Sagar to the Principal of the school, Mrs Shanta Kashyap.
