Sikkim assembly constituencies are spread over the four districts of the state. They vary in size and the number of voters. However, each of the assembly constituencies of Sikkim plays an important role in the formation of the legislative council of the state.
Sikkim assembly constituencies are divided into general, BL and SC seats. 12 seats are reserved as BL seats, whereas two are SC seat. Sangha constituency of the assembly constituencies at Sikkim has a Sangha representative.
