Bhutia Folk Dance
Bhutia folk dance is very popular in Sikkim. Its nearness to the neighboring country Bhutan has not only influenced the Indian state but also its culture and traditions. Moreover, Sikkim consists of a large population of Bhutanis.

Tashi Sabdo : This Bhutia folk dance of Sikkim is a very ancient dance form executed by young boys and girls with scarves of snow white shade in their hands. These scarves symbolize purity, prosperity and peace. The scarves also known as Khadas are offered to the local gods on all prosperous occasions and this is what this dance form describes.
