Sahkar Education Trust

One of the leading schools in Surat - Shree Takshashila Vidyalaya is run by the Sahkar Education Trust. The Shree Sahkar Education Trust was established to provide educational infrastructure to the children of the state using multi dimensional facilities.

The major objective with the Sahkar Education Trust was started are:

To create awareness about biodiversity among the students and general people

To provide education using facilities of various dimensions

Regular organizing of health and medical camps

To encourage health and care research and developmental works

The Shree Sahkar Education Trust has undertaken major promotional activities. Most of these activities concern the educational sector. Some of the achievements of the trusts are-

• Established a Bio-tech Institute approved by the Director of Technical Education of Gujarat in 1995
• The foundation of the Shree Takshashila Vidyalaya was in the year 1998. Recognized by the Gujarat Secondary and Primary Education Board, it is a Gujarati Medium school.
• The opening of the Shree Dhanvantary Pharmacy College in 2006
• The establishment of Shree Dhanvantary Pharmaceutical Analysis & Research center in 2006
• Started the Shree Dhanvantary Institute and Dental Laboratory in 2007

The ten-year-old Sahkar Education Trust of Gujarat has been successful in fulfilling many of its prime objectives but they are not sitting complacent with their works. They are always planning for the betterment of the society.
