Tamil Nadu also has many power generating plants in various parts of the state which supplies electricity to the neighbouring states of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh as well.
The state of Tamil Nadu is famous for its “Textiles” Industry. The industry is known to produce fine and delicate silk and synthetic fibers. The famous “Kanchipuram” silk or the “South Indian” silk has a wide market within and outside India. The beautiful color combinations with the attractive designs makes the “Kanchipuram” saris a favorite among the women.
