Tamil Nadu has developed many avenues of harnessing the wind energy. The electric energy produced from the thermal plants is sufficient to supply electricity to the entire state of Tamil Nadu.
Hydro Energy
Water is an important renewable energy that not only quenches the thirst of people, but also generates electricity to bolster the economic and industrial development of the state. The state of Tamil Nadu has many hydro- electric plants that produces the electric energy at a reasonably low cost.Tamil Nadu is well equipped to produce and harness the energies and use them for further development of the state.
