  • Sri Thiayagaraja Temple- Sri Thiayagaraja Temple is a top tourist destination in Tiruvarur. The historic temple of Sri Thyagaraja at Tiruvarur is dedicated to the Somaskanda avatar of Lord Shiva. Nagore Dharga- Nagore Dharga is a holy place of worship for the followers of Islam. This is located in Nagore at a distance of 30 km from Thiruvarur.
  • Velanganni Church- Velanganni Church lies in Velanganni at a distance of 30 km from Tiruvarur.
  • Sri Rajagopalaswamy Temple- Sri Rajagopalaswamy Temple is located in Mannargudi which is about 28 km from the principal town.   • Agnipureeswarar Temple- This temple is a widely respected place of worship which is believed as one (the 126th) of the chain of Tevara Stalams in the Chola territory

  • Kothanda Ramar Temple- Kothanda Ramar Temple is dedicated to Lord Rama. It lies at Mudikondan on the way between Mayiladuthurai and Thiruvarur.
  • Kamalalayam - Tiruvarur Temple Tank- This tank sprawls about 100000 sq m or 25 acres and is one of the biggest in the nation.
