Kerala Sahitya Academy

Kerala Sahitya Academy, Thrissur was founded on 15th August in the year 1956. The main aim of the academy is to help in the development of Malayalam Language and Literature. It actually works with the co-operation of the Kerala Sahitya Academy in New Delhi. development of Malayalam Language and Literature.

The Kerala Sahitya Academy is located at the cultural capital of Kerala, Thrissur. Attached to the Academy lies a very good library, which has two sections - the General Section and the Research section. The library is very helpful for the students pursuing their studies in the field of Malayalam Language and Literature. Kerala Sahitya Academy, Thrissur arranges workshops and seminars for the development of Malayalam Language and Literature.
