Tripura Cabinet of Ministers

The Tripura Cabinet of Ministers comprises of efficient and honest ministers who are part of the Tripura Government. Headed by the honorable Chief Minister of Tripura, Shri Manik Sarkar, the Cabinet Ministers are assigned with portfolios for effective administration of the state.

The Cabinet Ministers of Tripura take several important decisions in matters related to the social, economic and political development of the state. Some of the well known Cabinet Ministers of Tripura who held important portfolios are:

Shri Gopal Das- Shri Gopal Das is the head of the Departments of Home (Fire), Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, and GA (Ptg & Sty)

Shri Anil Sarkar- Shri Anil Sarkar is in charge of the Departments of ICAT, Education (Higher), and Welfare of SC, OBC, & Minorities

Shri Jitendra Choudhury- Shri Jitendra Choudhury is in charge of the Departments of Education (Sports & Youth Affairs), Tribal Welfare and RD

Shri Badal Choudhury- Shri Badal Choudhury is the head of the Departments of Public Works, Finance, and Urban Development

Shri Keshab Mazumdar- Shri Keshab Mazumdar heads the Departments of Revenue, Education (Youth Affairs & Sports), Education (School) and Law (Parliamentary Affairs)

Shri Pranab Debbarma- Shri Pranab Debbarma is in charge of the Departments of Home (Jail) and Animal Resource Development

Shri Faizur Rahaman- Shri Faizur Rahaman heads the Departments of Welfare of Religious Minorities and Labor

Smt. Bijoy Lakshmi Sinha- Smt. Bijoy Lakshmi Sinha is in charge of the Departments of OBC, Industries & Commerce
