Tripura Government Policies

The Tripura government policies are framed in consultation with the Cabinet Ministers for better administration of the state. The state government of Tripura devises special measures and policies with regard to the improvement of the socio- economic status of the minorities, formulation of budget and generation of self employment schemes for the unemployed inhabitants.

According to the government policies of Tripura, the meritorious students from the minority community would be awarded with scholarships to encourage them in the field of education. The Asanghatita Shramik Sahayika Prakalpa scheme has been recently introduced by the state government for the rural poor of Tripura. As per the scheme, the state government of Tripura will extend financial assistance to the members of the organization so that they are able to start their own business.

The Tripura government has devised several measures to effectively deal with the natural calamities that severely affect the state. According to the norms, the state government has established a fund which can be used during the natural calamities to help the local inhabitants. In order to create new opportunities for generating income, the state government has started with the scheme of Self- Employment Generation Programme, whereby the candidates are encouraged to establish their own commercial set up. The basic aim of this scheme is to effectively employ the educated youth and help them to become successful businessmen in the near future.

An integral part of Tripura Government, the several policies of the state government have helped in the rapid progress of Tripura. The local inhabitants of the state have largely benefited from the various policies and norms of the government of Tripura.
