Indigenous Nationalist Party of Tripura is a political organization that comprises of members from the aboriginal tribal communities of the state. The chief aim of the Indigenous Nationalist Party of Tripura is to promote a feeling of togetherness and brotherhood among the local inhabitants of the state.

The brains behind the formation of the tribal political organization of Indigenous Nationalist Party were that of Shri Bijoy Kumar Hrangkhawl, who was the head of Tripura National Volunteers and Shri Harinath Debnath who was the head of IPFT. The establishment of the new political party of the tribal communities of Tripura gave a boast to the development of the state.

Indigenous Nationalist Party looks after the urgent needs of the various tribal groups of the state of Tripura. The party has witnessed several bouts of success and failures. However, all the members of the Indigenous Nationalist Party of Tripura firmly believe in the unity of the various tribal groups.
