The distance from Agartala to Silchar is 288 kms, to Guwahati is 599 kms, to Shillong is 499 kms, to Dharmanagar is 200 kms. The National Highway No. 44 connects Agartala to Guwahati via Shillong and the traveling time is 24 hours. The location of Tripura makes it very convenient for people to travel to Bangladesh by road.
