Getting there to West Bengal is easy and comfortable. The state is well connected by air, road and rail routes. West Bengal has all facilities for the tourists who desire to tour the state. The infrastructure developed by the government supports the accessibility and getting there to the state is easy for all its visitors.

The state has air links with several cities within the country and abroad. There are two airports in the state. The Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport situated in Kolkata is an international airport which has 10 international airlines and domestic airlines plying in it. The Bagdogra Airport situated a few kilometers from the city of Siliguri is a domestic aerodrome with only the domestics airlines plying in it.

The state of West Bengal is connected by rail roads to the major cities of India. The city of Kolkata itself has two railway stations. The circular railways ply within the city connecting the outskirts to the main city.

Getting to West Bengal is also possible through the roads. The National Highway connects the city of Kolkata to other major cities of India. There are buses that ply within the city as well. Distant parts of the state are connected by bus routes.
