Regional Authors

India is a multi lingual nation. The writings of the regional authors are in close touch with the basic realities and therefore are considered to be more authentic compared to the Indian writings in English.

Regional authors of Bengal: Bengali literature is one of the famous literatures in India. Though Bengali literature developed long back but the 19th century is marked as the period when the renaissance of Bengali literature took place.

Tamil authors: The Tamil literature is around 2,200 years old. Sangam literature was considered to be the golden era of Tamil literature. Tamil authors wrote about life, love, personal human emotions, moral values, social, political and religious issues and about almost everything under the Sun.

Hindi Authors: Hindi the national language of India is the regional language for states. Hindi authors of India are popular far and wide. Their writings comprise of subjects in affinity to the common masses. Hindi authors have always tried to inspire their reader in some form or the other. During the Indian freedom movement they wrote literature that could stimulate the people with the feeling of patriotism. Likewise the Hindi authors always touched some social, political or religious aspect in order to enlighten the Indian masses. The authors believed that literature was an important source of educating the citizens.
