Delhi has a population of approximately 16.7 million people, as per the latest census. Delhi\u2019s area is much less as compared to many states and Union territories in India. But in terms of population, the density in Delhi is comparatively higher than most of the states of India.<\/p>\n

The union territory of Lakshadweep has the lowest population in India, followed by Ladakh. States like Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and the union territory of Jammu & Kashmir also have a lesser population than Delhi.<\/p>\n
