RERA Becomes Effective from 1 May

As per reports, The Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA) is going to become effective from 1 May, 2017. Each of the state and UT is going to have its Regulatory Authority (RA) which will follow rules and regulations according to the Act.

The 10 significant ground rules of RERA include informing the buyer during booking, amount of booking, getting the project registered, projects underway, registration of projects, online information, home buying advertisement, interest on default, quality of construction and delay delivery – compensation.

Ceasefire Violation by Pakistan in J&K Killed Two Soldiers

As per reports, a forward Indian post at Kerni in Jammu and Kashmir was targeted by Pakistani troops on Monday morning, killing two soldiers and injuring one.

The ceasefire violation took place around 8.30 am as Pakistani troops used rockets and mortar shells for the Indian forward post. Indian troops also reportedly retaliated the exchange of fire.
