02 July 2020 Current Events Total Coronavirus Cases in India Crossed 6 Lakh Mark

The total number of Coronavirus cases in India crossed 6 lakh mark after 19,148 new cases were reported in the past 24 hours. As per health ministry reports, active cases in India stands at 2,26,947, while 3,59,859 patients have recovered, and total cases have gone up to 6,04,641. The death toll in the country went up to 17,834 after adding 434 fatalities in 24 hours. The recovery rate in India is at 59.51%. And the gap between recovered patients to actives cases now stands at 1.32 lakh. As per ICMR, over 90.5 lakh samples have been tested so far in the country for Coronavirus as of July 1.
