03 April 2017 Current Events Army Jawan Heading to New Delhi with Two Grenades Arrested at Srinagar Airport

As per reports, an army jawan was arrested at Srinagar airport on Monday morning after two grenades were found in his baggage by security forces. He was taken to the police station in central Kashmir’s Humama for further interrogation. He was identified as Bhupal Mukhia and was posted near the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.

Following the interrogation, he admitted his as well as junior level officers’ involvement in being the courier.
