03 August 2018 Current Events India Vs England: Test Match 1 Day 2 update

Day 2 of the first test match witnessed exciting inning played by the Indian skipper Virat Kohli at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham. He scored a total of 149 runs on the second day of the first test before wrapping up for the day at 274 runs. This was Virat's 22nd century in the test cricket series at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham. Sam Churran also showcased impressive bowling taking four wickets in his kitty.


Govt to attain its goal of providing LPG connections to 5 crore poor families today

The government of India is about to succeed in accomplishing its target of providing five crore poor families with the facility of LPG connections under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana today. The last LPG connection i.e. Ujjwala Connection No. 5 crore will be provided to the selected beneficiary in a function organized at the Parliament. 


Indian Railways increases Assistant loco pilots, technicians vacancies from 26,502 to 60,000

Indian Railways has raised the vacancies for the post of  Assistant loco pilots, technicians to provide more employment opportunities to the youth of India. The 26,502 vacancies were announced by the Railway Recruitment Board in February 2018. 


Yamuna water level drops from the danger level in Delhi

The water level of the river Yamuna has finally begun to recede from the danger level after reaching the danger level of 206.05 meters over the past few days. It has come down to 204.80 meters and is expected to drop more.
