03 January 2020 Current Events Kerala's Tableau has been Rejected After Bengal and Maharashtra

After Bengal and Maharashtra, Kerala's tableau has been rejected for this year's Republic Day parade by the Ministry of Defence. Many opposition leaders have condemned the decision including Supriya Sule, Nawab Malik, Shiv Sena's Sanjay Raut and Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi. After such criticism, the government denied any malicious intent behind the move as the decision is taken by a committee.
