Indian pilgrims undergoing Kailash-Mansarovar yatra stuck in Nepal amid heavy rain, bad weather

More than 1,000 pilgrims on Kailash-Mansarovar yatra are stuck in Nepal due to heavy rain and bad weather. As per the reports, there are about 525 pilgrims in Simikot, 550 in Hilsa and 500 more on the Tibet side.The Indian embassy in Kathmandu is taking care of all the pilgrims from India. The bad weather condition is curbing the efforts of safely evacuating the Indian pilgrims.

Andheri footover bridge collapses, making life of commuters more difficult

A part of Andheri footover bridge has collapsed today morning owing to the carlessness of the authorities. The western railway line has been made temporarily unoperational. Andheri being one of the important stations for all the three lines — Central, Western, and Harbour— it is going to be a daunting task for daily commuters. No casualities have been reported from the site.
