03 June 2019 Current Events 13 Missing Along with an Indian Air Force Plane
As per recent news updates, an aircraft of Indian Air Force transport that flew off from Jorhat, Assam today during the early hours of the day is missing. The media sources added that this craft consists of 8 crew members and 5 passengers onboard. Moreover, Antonov AN-32 took off for the flight at 12:25 pm. Additionally, this plane flew off to Mechuka, Arunachal Pradesh, specifically towards the military landing strip. However, the last contact the Air Force plane had with the ground forces was at 1:00 pm.  

Government investigates I-T and GST mismatch

As per recent news update, it is for the very first time that government of India matched the GST and Income Tax returns. The initial results exposed the overstatement of GST and understatement of income tax returns. Moreover, the media reports have shown invoice inflation in imports and exports, without corresponding quantities. This is a drawback for our economy. Additionally, notices are already issued against such entities. Meanwhile, strict action was taken by the Supreme Court, that directly refused to safeguard the GST violators from imprisonment.
