03 May 2019 Current Events Delhi achieves third position in terms of pass-percentage
On April 2, 2019, Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE) finally declared the most awaited board results of the year, that is of class 12th. Here, Delhi has bagged third position in terms of its pass percentage. Whereas, Trivandrum secured first position, the students studying in Kendriya Vidyalayas topped institution-wise, with 98.2 and 98.54 percentages respectively. Meanwhile, in Chennai passing percentage was 92.93% where 82,719 students appeared for their board exams. Also, among the differently-abled category, the total of around 3260 students appeared for the exams of various streams, of which 90.25% of candidates qualified. As a whole, a rise in pass percentage was seen and teachers remarked that with hard work and consistency these students will go far ahead in their lives.
