Ram Jethmalani Raises Bill of Rs 3.42 Crore for Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi Government Would Want Tax Payers to Pay

As per reports, after Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal was sued by Union finance minister Arun Jaitley for civil and criminal defamation, Delhi government now wants the taxpayers to pay all the costs of Kejriwal’s defence. A bill of Rs 3.43 crore for his services has been raised by Ram Jethmalani, Kejriwal’s counsel.

According to a legal analyst, both Jaitley and Kejriwal were fighting the case in their personal levels. He further added, Kejriwal could have invoked Section 80 of the Civil Procedure Code.
